The choice is yours when you place your order.
Dear UK Members,
I’m afraid I can no longer afford to personally subsidise the cost of shipping parcels to you as I’ve been happy to do for over 4 years.
Vegepa Club was far smaller then but, over time, with far more orders, Royal Mail’s postal increases, parcel insurance, packaging materials, leaflet inserts, time, petrol etc, it’s all become too expensive for me – however much I’d love to be able to continue.
Up til now you’ve paid a percentage but I now have to pass the total cost onto you.
You’ll find that now, when you place an order, (UK ONLY) you have the choice of Standardor Signed For and you’ll be told how much the shipping will be. I’ll calculate the final total of your order, as I do now, in your invoice.
I hope you’ll understand that this is usual business practice and, more importantly, for a pound or so more each time you order, that it won’t interfere with your Vegepa intake.
P.S. If you place a larger order than usual, say 3 months’ supply in one go, you can save on your shipping costs (not to mention my time and energy)!
International parcels are always sent Signed For (and are therefore insured).
If you are in the UK and choose Standard Delivery, you are then financially liable for the loss of the parcel and my shipping costs.
The responsibility for receiving the parcel is yours. If you are not at home, the Post Office should leave a card so that you can contact them directly to arrange a 2nd delivery.
If for some reason the parcel is returned to me (it’s only happened to me twice!), you will be responsible for the cost of my having to send it out to you again.
Once your payment has cleared, I will immediately email you, with your invoice, to let you know when to expect delivery, usually 1 – 2 working days later for UK and 5 – 10 working days later for anywhere else.
